Well, if it helps, I was reading at 5, my mother took me to the library and obtained a library card for me. I read everything I could get my hands on and by the time I entered the first grade, Dick and Jane bored me silly. I was reading at least the 7th grade level by then. Precocious 11 yo children are probably more numerous than you think. I wasn't a genious either, having an IQ of 141. It was just something about reading that seemed incredibly easy to me. I also understood many political ramifications when I was about 10 or so. Perhaps because my family were all Democrats but were southern democrats and were strongly in favor of freedom and individual rights.

I eventually became a Republican as the dems started changing for the worse.

This kid needs to be reeducated in the “Clockwork Orange” fashion by a well educated ivory tower liberal administering the puni-—eerrrrrr I mean lessons.

There will soon be government school defenders who will **INSIST** that their child's government school is “different”.

My husband and I are Cub Scout leaders and we live in one of the reddest counties in one of the reddest states. We have what would easily be described as so-called “good” government schools.

OUR SCOUTS DO NOT KNOW THE PLEDGE!!! My husband and I must TEACH OUR SCOUTS THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE!! ( Yes, I am shouting and having a fit!)

MY KINDERGARTEN AGED GRANDSON CAME HOME WITH A HEADBAND EMBLAZONED WITH THE WORDS “YES WE CAN!!”

Conservative parents,... it is time to get your child out of these Marxist indoctrination camps!

Teachers,... it is long past time that you got out too! By opening the doors on these indoctrination camps, and assisting in their programs, you are enabling evil. If you love teaching and love these kids work with other conservatives to shut these Marxist madrasses down and open private conservative schools.

It’s a good thing this kid is going to be home schooled. He is far too smart to stay in public school!

In Junior High back in the early 60’s, our school had a very popular American History teacher. The problem was any student with conservative values that expressed them was berated. That brought my Mother to the school for a conference in defense of her son.
A few years later I had the same teacher my brother had. Since I was shy, I did express my views but one boy was like my brother. He was laughed at by his peers when the teacher countered his views.
