teachers are the new communist party members of the good ol' Russia..er..Usa.....

just as in Russia, party members get the Black sea vacations and the coal miners get the shaft....

a turn in a generation....because when I was a school kid, teachers were highly respected....I really think its because so many draft dodgers went into teaching...an easy college degree...to avoid Viet Nam and it has shaded their every move since....notice our standards and achievements have deteriorated.
