Youll get no argument from me that Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, is crazier than a drunk bed bug on Halloween. He has very strange ideas about winding down the federal government and monetary policy that might have worked in 1776 but wont work in 2010 and isnt willing to compromise.
However, theres one thing that despite all his faults he isnt and that is anti-Semitic. So while all these lefty Helen Thomas apologists are to so eager to draw a moral equivalency by saying, Well _________ said this __________ and he didnt get fired, its not a valid argument. Why? Because what the so-called dean of the White House press corps was blatant anti-Semitism. Go back to Germany or Poland?

Who ?
They need to go back to the Soviet Union.
So if Ron Paul isnt anti-Semitic he could of fooled me. He seems to have no problem justifying the actions of dictators and terrorists but then also has no problem condemning the actions of Israel.
Rhodes is nothing - except an ignorant potty-mouthed guttersnipe.
I have zero problem with firing Ron Paul too.
Criticizing a National Government, is NOT the same thing as hating an ethnic group. It just isn't -- no matter how much the Paul-Haters want to dishonestly pretend it is. Ron Paul never told the Jews to "go back to Germany and Poland" -- I mean, good grief.
And that's speaking as someone who disagrees with some of Ron Paul's criticisms on this matter -- believing as I do that while ALL National Governments on the Earth today are "Sinners" in one public policy or another, the Government of Israel deserves very little criticism at least by comparison to the atrocities perpetrated by her immediate neighbors and enemies.
But all the same, criticizing a Government is not the same thing as hating an ethnic group. It just isn't.
Amen.
Rand Paul would be wise to understand the political reasoning behind the nation of Israel so as not be become a target of those who can't separate geopolitics from religion.
