In an ABC News poll that was released Monday evening, most Americans indicate that the government's response to the Gulf oil disaster is worse than that of Hurricane Katrina.
69% rate the Obama Administration's handling of the crisis negatively, while the Bush Administration's negatives on its handling of Katrina rose to only 62%.
The poll also says that by a 2-to-1 margin, Americans believe that those responsible for the oil disaster should face criminal charges.
BP's negatives are even worse.

Dont worry - He’s gonna kick some ass.
Bush’s 62% was only because the msm was berating him 24/7. The difference is Obama is being sucked up to by the msm and he still at 69%.
This poll does not say that Obama response was worse than the Bush response. It just says more people view it negatively. Were they asked which was worse? Not according to the article.
obama hasn’t done anything. In fact he STILL hasn’t done anything in response to the oil spill. Everything is being done by BP
Why isn’t he releasing federal stimulus dollars that they’ve already stolen from us? Speaking for myself, that would be the best use of my already collected tax dollars right now. These people and these coastlines need that help NOW. He can’t sit on it, waiting to slush fund elections. Release Fed stimulus funds NOW...and send BP the tab later.
It’s my understanding that Zer0 refused offers for good, large dedicated skimmers because of some environmental regulation. Apparently since the skimmers leave some oil residue, a sheen, that isn’t good enough.
Watching overflights, long strings of oil were just waiting for a skimmer to scoop it up.
I think Zer0 has finally seen the light and OKed skimmers.
But, now the oil has broken up into scattered clumps.
He missed a golden opportunity .
The people they polled are racists./s
Who wants to bet that he’s deliberately dragging his feet, and allowing the Gulf Coast ecology and economy to be ruined so he can put them on another bailout program?
