Thanks for posting this and keep up the good work.
Also, I have something for you.
You might want to get your hands on a copy of the July 2010 issue of marie claire magazine.
On page 76 there is this:
QA: Fear Factor, an interview with Jessica Stern. (A "terrorism expert".)
On page 78, at the end of the interview, she says:
In Afghanistan, I learned, Thursdays are known as "man-loving day" -- in other words, the day when warlords rape boys. Friday prayers absolve sinners of wrongdoing. This isn't covered in the press here.
Here are some questions for you to look into, Chris:
1. Is it only "warlords" who engage in this activity?
2. Is it possible that this activity is much more wide-spread in the Islamic world and not just confined to Afghanistan.
3. What is the extent of the cover-up of this activity by the western media? How many of them know about it and are purposely keeping silent?
There is no link to this interview online but I did find these:
Maybe They'll Send A Strongly Worded Letter
Man-Love Thursdays in Afghanistan
Thanks.
PS: My wife subscribes to the magazine and pointed out this article to me.
Well that is sickening, but it is good that a major magazine like Marie Claire published the article.
I am going to look into it.
Have a good weekend!
