Even the name is TMI.
What else do you think “Bloggers and Personal” is about? I always wonder about the people who attack “blog pimps” as if promoting your own blog is some kind of a crime, or offense against common sense. Not half the offense, in my opinion, as self-righteously demanding that other people make their behavior conform to your ideals - takes a real asshat to do that.

The web page you link is not anything like the description you wrote. Maybe you should hand out a link to your blog after you start it.
Free Republic is a place where conservatives come to read articles and hold discussions. Not so big on advertisements. Maybe you could have posted a full article from your blog for people to discuss. Oops, you don't have a blog yet.
Remember, punctuation and spelling count, there is little tolerance around here for low rent blogs. Of course, this doesn't count while you don't actually have a blog yet.
We are happy to have current, active members start their own blogs. Joining up just to advertise your blog will not go well. I would also not suggest posting excerpted articles from your blog and then not replying to anyone. Of course, you don't have a blog yet so this isn't really an issue.

And to the others, I am sorry to come off as a spammer or “pimp.” I’m just trying to get the word out about my project. I figured FR was a place patriots gather to discuss issues of the day, and to find ways to resist the regime of Barry Soetoro.
No harm was meant, and I’m sorry to those who were offended.
