Couple things that make this bill unconstitutional.

1, it’s not a vote between statehood and independence. It’s a choice between four options:

1, status quo.
2, independence
3, statehood
4, ‘sovereignty association’.

This is the same crap that we’ve endured from Quebec for the last 40 years.

Whatever the law states, it can get passed if the Democrats offer up statehood for a new state called "Chicago".

The Republicans would get two new safe Republican Senators!
