As the volcano on the island nation of Iceland spews out smoke gray clouds full of ash, people over in north and central Europe scramble to find alternate transportation as air flights are cancelled.

People should really be paying attention to what is happening with the earth. These earth quakes and now this eruption are all linked. Though nothing can really be done about it.

Things are about to get real ugly for the species that roam the earth.

Another example of the folly of Algore’s claims that man can control nature. Man is at the mercy of natural events and can only pray he survives.

Yes, Mother Earth, does indeed, seem to be throwing a fit, and probably well overdue, but I will take her actions over the destruction done by Obammie and his minions.

I wonder if the Cern semi collider is causing this instability. It is very controversial. Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions were forecasted.

Dec 2012 is becoming more and more possible. With the solar storms and earth quakes and changes.. Pretty scarey stuff.

We would be wise to keep a sharp eye on this situation. This particular volcano has erupted for months on end in the past, and some experts are warning that it might not stop as soon as other experts are positing.

Also, there seems to be a relationship between this volcano and one that is much easier to pronounce, (but much more deadly), named Katla. Apparently these two are linked underground by a tube.

If lava builds up, and flows through the tube, building up pressure in Katla, there goes all the imported luxuries we have become accustomed or feel entitled to seeing in our shops and markets.

That doesn’t even include the impact on the fragile economies in Europe and here in the US. If the ash settles on fields and animals in Europe, consider the potential for food shortages.

With the burgeoning immigrant population in cities over there, rising costs of food, difficult transportation, rising illness in a socialized medical system, we could be staring at monstrous social unrest over there.

Not that we would be exempt from the same, for we could face similar problems here.

This is beginning to scare the hell out of me. I am in the Airplane manufacturing business, and having our customers losing millions everyday is frightening. The months following 9/11 was devastating on us. What could weeks or months of closed air space mean?

Another Freeper made this comment on another thread....

Every since it has been in operation I’ve had a pain in my side, my kids have a weird rash and my wife has migraines.

I think you are on to something.

Yes, and it is simply beyond belief that politicians, with ALL the gold, silver, diamonds, pearls, and FIAT CURRENCIES on the planet and infinite levied taxes thus accumulated into their mitts, can do anything about it. Of course, they must be playing virtual video games in their otherwise unoccupied heads.

If Katla erupts, I am acting within hours on a pre-made list of things to make sure I have if I don’t already.

That said, Katla can trail Eyjafjalljokull by quite a bit, temporally.

Jesper Parnevik won’t be bothered too much.

From: http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2004/04/09/1081326925933.html?from=storyrhs

(snip) Even more bizarre in his efforts to gain a competitive advantage is the Swedish professional Jesper Parnevik. While travelling in planes, he has been known to wear sunglasses with flashing lights that supposedly synchronise the left and right sides of his brain.

While the logic is harder to follow than that of the golf hat, we thought we would speculate anyway. The left side of the brain is thought to be responsible for the control of logical, rational thinking (not one of Parnevik's strong points), language and speech. The right side controls visual imagery, musical rhythm and melody, imagination and creativity.

Many people tend to have one dominant side of the brain. Learning, however, is thought to be most effective when both sides of the brain are involved in the learning process.

In golf - a game that is considered as much mental as it is physical - it's likely that both sides of the brain are required for maximal performance. Hence any attempt to synchronise both sides of the brain may be valuable. The question of how Jesper's sunglasses actually do this is something best left to the neurophysiologists.

Before rushing out to buy the hat or sunnies, a final word of caution. Last we heard, Halle was talking to the rules secretary of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club at St Andrews about whether his hat was primarily designed to stop the wind blowing it off players' heads, or a golf swing aid, which is illegal.

Parnevik, meanwhile, is best remembered for his three-month diet that consisted of nothing but fruit and volcanic ash in order to cleanse the body.

****

Sign is seen posted. A sign is seen posted at New York's Carnegie Hall indicating that the performance 'Making Music: Louis Andriessen' scheduled for that evening SaturdayApril 17, 2010 has been canceled due to flight problems caused by ash from the volcanic eruption in Iceland.« Read less (AP Photo/Tina Fineberg)

It does have a Biblical tone to it:

Revelation 18:22-23 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

My daughter is very upset because the ash cloud is preventing her husband from coming home from Iraq. He was supposed to be home on Saturday but they can’t fly into Europe because of the cloud.

You and me, both. I lost my job post 9/11. I don't want to go through that, again.
