Turns out the driver, Todd Lee Smith, was not drunk, but he did have a warrant out of North Las Vegas for possession of meth and weapons. After getting consent to search his vehicle, police noticed a possible explosive device. Metro’s Armor Squad was called in and the device was diffused.
