He spoke about carrying water on your person, or in your bag. Also a clean handkerchief - to act as a filter for your lungs in case of smoke and debris. (poor water on handkerchief and hold it up to nose and mouth).<<<
Dr. Bill Wattenberg says that a mans tshirt and shorts make excellent material to wet and use over the nose/mouth when there is stuff in the air that one does not want to breath.
He has begged the California schools to teach the kids this and they will not.
During war times, Israel issues gas masks to the citizens, recently there was something in their news about it being time to issue new ones or new filters.
From the news headlines that I just posted, it is not difficult to believe that we will all want to own a gas mask and the good ones are expensive.
Most of the cheaper ones are not better than a tshirt.

Dulles CBP Arrests Alleged Bolivian Impostor with Puerto Rico Birth Certificate
(Wednesday, May 12, 2010)
contacts for this news release
Sterling, Va., - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a Bolivian man at Washington-Dulles International Airport on Thursday on allegations that he was an impostor pretending to be a U.S. citizen.
Officers arrested Juan Condori Sejas, 51, after he attempted to use a Puerto Rico birth certificate and a U.S. Social Security Card to acquire a Customs seal on his Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport employee ID. A Customs seal allows bearers access to restricted security areas.
Customs and Border Protection officers are proficient at detecting fraudulent identity documents and suspected that the birth certificate that Conderi Sejas possessed is a fake, said Christopher Hess, CBP port director for the Port of Washington, D.C. This expertise is a significant deterrent to keeping illegal aliens, narco-traffickers and terrorists away from airport employment positions that could facilitate the smuggling of humans, weapons, currency or narcotics into the United States, and it helps to keep airline passengers safe.
During routine questioning, Condori Sejas allegedly claimed to have crossed the U.S. border with Mexico in 2006 without CBP inspection and that he purchased the birth certificate and social security card from a human trafficker.
The U.S. Attorneys Office for the Eastern District of Virginia is prosecuting Condori Sejas for immigration fraud.
CBP placed a detainer on Condori Sejas, who will likely be removed from the United States should he be convicted. Foreign nationals who violate U.S. immigration law may be barred from returning to the U.S. for a period of no less than five years.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our nation’s borders at and between the official ports of entry. CBP is charged with keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons out of the country while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.

An Egyptian-American passenger was detained in Cairo Airport on Wednesday after authorities discovered several weapons in his luggage, security sources said.
The passenger, who arrived on an Egypt Air flight from New Yorks JFK International Airport, tried to pass through customs with six metal boxes containing two 9mm pistols, 250 bullets, two swords, and 11 daggers, a security official at the Cairo International Airport told Al-Masry Al-Youm.
Mohamed Ibrahim Khalf, a professor of botany at a US-based school, was transferred to a state security prosecutor for further investigation, the official said on condition of anonymity.

ITALY EXPELLED MOROCCANS ON SUSPICION OF POPE PLOT
IN.REUTERS.com ^ | Fri May 14, 2010 10:03pm IST | n/a
Posted on May 15, 2010 4:12:00 AM PDT by Cindy
SNIPPET: “ROME (Reuters) - Two Moroccan students deported from Italy last month were suspected of plotting to assassinate Pope Benedict, an Interior Ministry source said on Friday.
Mohamed Hlal, 26, and Ahmed Errahmouni, 22, students at the University for Foreigners in the central Italian city of Perugia, had been under surveillance by anti-terrorist police for months before they were expelled on April 29.”
SNIPPET: “Six other foreign students, suspected of contacts with militant Islamic groups, are still under investigation.”
SNIPPET: “The magazine said police discovered a map of Turin at Errahmouni’s house annotated with numbers and circles, ahead of a visit to the northern Italian city by Pope Benedict on May 2 to venerate the Shroud of Turin, which many Catholics believe was Jesus Christ’s burial cloth.
Panorama described Errahmouni as a computer expert who remained in contact with militant groups over the Internet. It said Perugia had become a centre for travelling imams to preach radical Islam.”

Government Outreach with Terror-tied Mosque Continues
IPT News
May 14, 2010
SNIPPET: The State Department wants its next wave of diplomats to learn what Muslims in other countries think of America.
To do that, it is sending a class to Anwar al-Awlakis former mosque in Falls Church, Va. this Sunday, the Investigative Project on Terrorism has learned.
As we reported Tuesday, federal law enforcement officials view the Dar al-Hijrah mosque as home to Hamas operatives and others linked to terrorist financing and bad orgs. In addition, it was home for two years to Awlaki, a charismatic, American-born cleric now living in Yemen. He is considered to have been inspirational to the accused Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan, failed airplane bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab and Times Square bomber Faizal Shahzad. As a result, he may be the only American the CIA is authorized by the President to kill.
Awlaki has been gone for eight years, and mosque leadership publicly disavows him, but Alwakis radical preaching was well established during his time there.
The 9/11 Commission Report found that Awlaki knew two of the hijackers and that one, Nawaf al-Hamzi, followed Awlaki from San Diego to Virginia in early 2001, an appearance that may not have been coincidental.

It is a Dutch war newsletter, covers a wide range and who knows what is lurking in it.

Guest Post: The Story of Eric Breininger
Thomas Hegghammer
May 11th, 2010 | Afghanistan, Germany, Travel Routes, training camps
[Editor’s note: This post was written by Christopher Radler and Behnam
Said, who are intelligence analysts based in Hamburg, Germany. For
links to the original document, see the comments to the preview post.]
On 3 May a message announcing the death of Eric Breininger (b. 3
August 1987) and three of his fellow combatants was posted on several
German jihadist websites. Breininger, who travelled to the border
region between Pakistan and Afghanistan in the winter 2007, was one of
the most infamous German jihadists. From Waziristan Breininger, a.k.a.
Abdul Ghaffar al-Almani, sent several videotaped messages to the
jihadist community in Germany, asking them to join the jihad or at
least to support it financially. Since September 2008 the German
Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) searched for Breininger, based on
his assumed affiliation with a foreign terrorist organization.
A day after the announcement of his death, Breiningers alleged
autobiography, entitled Mein Weg nach Jannah (My Way to Paradise) was
released on jihadi websites. The 108-page document mainly deals with
Breiningers path into violent islamist militancy. It is not clear
however, if Breininger wrote the document himself. In the messages he
delivered from Waziristan, he spoke a very simple and often
grammatically incorrect German. By contrast, the language of the
published book is far more elaborate and correct. On the other hand,
the content and details in the book argue for the authenticity of the
document. Interestingly, the spelling of names differs throughout the
book, which could indicate a collaborative effort. So we can assume
that Breininger either 1) wrote it down by himself and had some help
from his friends, or 2) told his story to some of his fellow jihadists
and they wrote it down, as Spiegel journalist Yassin Musharbash
suggested. Overall, however, we favour the first assumption.
continues.
