I do love deep fried okra. Went straight to Dixie House last visit to Dallas to get my fix!
There used to be a local restaurant that would bring you fried okra and fried green tomatoes, like the Mexican food places bring out chips & salsa. The also served up delicious yeast rolls ~ if you wanted one they would throw it to you.
