Dang! Beets! I was raised on a farm, always ate lots of veggies. Still do. I like brussels sprouts, just boiled with a bit of salt and margarine. Same for Okra and carrots. Yep, I even eat turnips. But I draw the line at beets. If I were starving, I might eat ‘em before I resorted to cannibalism, or maybe not.....
I’ve already got turips and parsnips sprouting in the garden.
