a Brit on CNN was suggesting that they were at the wrong airport .

This airport did not have ILS and attempted to wave off the pilot.

It is a second Katyn massacre in its effects.

I'm inclined to think the Russians would not have caused this one intentionally, although it is hard to imagine that Putin would have wanted to be involved in a Katyn commemoration ceremony.

There is no question that the Russians will now try to whitewash any possible fault they may have had in the plane repairs, etc.
