OK. She believes Steele is doing a good job. You, me, and others may not agree with that. To me it is an irrelevant point. Whether she thinks he is doing a good, or even a bad, job how, please explain to me, does this affect her stance on taxes, energy, pro-growth econ policy, strong nat'l defense and adherence to intent and spirit of our Constitution as defined by that of Madison and Jefferson.

If you people wish to hang Palin out to dry just because she doesn't fecking agree with everything you happen to believe then perhaps you should log off and start your own campaign for elected office.
Her endorsement of McCain sucks, it is egregious, in my opinion. Yet I am fully cognizant that she is head & shoulders above any other potential GOP presidential candidate, with the exception of Mike Pence.
Let me explain what the problem really is. It is too many yentas and pot-bellied hillbillies posting utter nonsense on a political website. Try, just TRY, reading a book sometime. Did you know Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry despised each other? Yet the former oft lauded the latter. Just one example out of many for you to meditate on.

It’s not about hanging Palin or anyone else out to dry. Very few Conservative politicians know how to be on the offense and not sound like a collaborative monkey always on the defense (too bad Gingrich can’t be trusted because he is the only one out there with an Offensive plan). I like Palin on a personal level and for her stance on all the major issues, but as with Obama on the Left, just because she looks good and sounds good, should she be the one leading the Free World? Maybe someday my answer will be yes, but not anytime soon. I think Michelle Bachman has way more credibility with actual time in elected office to burnish her conservative credentials. I would vote for Bachman in 2012, but not Palin.

And YES, jla, I do read, and I do know how much enmity there was among our Founding Fathers and the rude public exchanges that make today’s politics look pale in comparison. My question to you is this: Why are you reading comments from us Yentas and Pot-bellied hillbillies??? You acknowledge my points and then call me names. Wow - that really elevated the discussion didn’t it!
