Just an update. My wife Barbara is out of the hospital. A clot from her heart travelled to her brain and caused a small stroke or TIA. They want her to REALLY watch her blood sugar and blood pressure as well as diet from now on. Since I’m also a diabetic with hypertension (and heart disease, which she doesn’t have) we’re in this together. We both have sleep apnea, as well. I always thought that’d be me, not her, as I’m 3 years older, much heavier and have the heart problems. It just goes to show you that you never know. She’s resting comfortably here at home. Thank you all for your kind thoughts, words and prayers. Please pass this on to anyone else that you might have pinged.
