What the history not in review is the relationship between the NRA and the NSSF/SAMMI. Truth is NSSF supported the 1968 gun control act along with the NRA. Bottom line is the NRA always positions itself with the NSSF, which is completely a lobbying cartel for the largest firearms manufactuers in the US. If legislation in congress does not impact the NSSF/SAMMI members the NRA is silent. Look how long it took the arrogant NRA with it’s nest of constitional lawyers to support the case at SCOTUS from 2 years ago.....silence until the last minute. The NRA only cares when the NSSF tells it too!!!
I am in the global arms and munitions business and I can tell you the NRA will throw anyone under the bus that is not a voting member of SAMMI. Take it for what it is worth, benefit from what the NRA does, but do not for a second think the NRA really cares about you the citizen or the US Constitutions 2nd Amendment as it is written.
