Does the author have any idea just how idiotic this premise is? Palin defeated the corrupt GOP establishment in Alaska to win the governorship. She is hated by the MSM to the point of them foaming at the mouth.
One can find fair reason to debate Palin appearing for McCain. But if you want to be taken seriously in that debate, one should not try to out-compete the MSM in their use of slug slime...
The organizers of Showdown in Searchlight should not have invited Palin, because she had already announced her support for McCain.
Inviting her anyway created the appearance that they were willing to compromise their principles to gain the big money draw of Sarah Palin speaking at the event.
