I have been an NRA life member for many years, if I had not already paid for this, I would tell them to shove it. I will however use my Life leverage to raise certain hell in the ranks.
I too am a Life Member but I upgraded to that before my eyes were opened to the realities of their deceit. I do, however, use that status to try and change things from the inside.
I was just about to send in my payment to renew and upgrade my membership in the NRA. I am tearing up the check and joining GOA.

As I recall Neal Knox (Executive Board Member) tried that several years ago. I haven't given to any of their begging letters since.
