Those points aside, I have trouble with Schiff’s attitude towards Iraq. And I’m unsure about his position on abortion (has he stated one?)
Despite the domestic mess that Obama has created (which Schiff would be a great fighter to correct), the greatest threat is still radical Islamic terrorism. And Schiff has shown great ignorance in this regard.
All this is a moot point. Any GOP candidate is behind in the polls against Blumenthal. Schiff, McMahon and Simmons are all flawed candidates, but the health care fight has shown that any republican is better than any democrat. Unless Forras can gain some ground quickly, I’ll have to support whoever can beat Blumenthal.
