There is no doubt in my mind that Ron Paul's libertarian movement is attempting to take over the Republican Party through co-opting the Tea Party movement. We've seen this here in Kentucky as a good chunk of our Tea Party leaders supported Bill Johnson, but Rand Paul's big money (77% of it coming from out of state people in this "liberty movement") gave him credibility with the media and made him able to bill himself as "the Tea Party candidate" here. It was all a hoax, of course, and now Kentucky's grassroots-selected candidate has been disenfranchised.

Across America, the story seems to be the same. Many people involved in politics for the first time in many years have no idea that the Ron Paul / Rand Paul camp is actually anti-war, hates the 14th amendment and the 17th amendment and.....believe in UFOs. Like the people in the Hartford Tea Party who would not listen to Mr. Bancroft, they are being duped with the "broadened message" of Rand Paul and other candidates in this "movement". It's like Obama all over again.

OMG I am learning so much from this thread. So far I have just been reading. I have watched Rand Paul on TV and he seems so logical. You see, it becomes more and more clear to me that NOTHING is what it seems to be. I don’t trust any of them. In my mind, there has to be an entire housecleaning of the White House and Capitol Hill. It then needs to be replace with Strict Constitutionalists. However, that isn’t going to happen anymore. God has spoken. Judgement has been declared and times are going to be very very tough for even those that are God’s children. God Help those who are not. There have been so many warnings and yet no group has been energized enough to organize or begin to organize what needs to be done. A housecleaning. It’s happened in many countries before the US but the US never ever thought it would be them. That is the sad part. The boiled frog and all you know. CO

The Tea Party has leaders?

Some tried to in Connecticut. My small town had one Tea Party last May and the aggressiveness of a handful of out of towners trying to rope everyone into this or that made the RTC ladies who organized it say they will never do it again. Half our town is independent. Republicans and Democrats live next to each other. The RTC ladies tried to make it a gentle affair but those with aspirations of being leaders embarrassed them in front of their friends and neighbors.

Likely the school transcripts (all of them) are sealed from us because they are indicative of low or failing grades and/or descriptive information listing him as a foreign student.

Incredible the democrat party either completely failed to vet this man's candidacy or were pressured/coerced (ala healthcare bill) to let it slide.......
