Start working your state’s legislature...
The Associated Press reported that DeMint added that he still believes the healthcare bill will be President Barack Obama's "Waterloo."
Come on Jim, man up and show some guts & courage. As much as I hate 0bozo & the demoRATS, especially Reid & Pelosi, you rarely if ever hear them backpedaling or backing, even if they are actually doing up. First Drier says the House Rules can do this, and now Jim DeMint. Thank goodness we have Michelle Bachmann & Sarah Palin to show the Repub male politicians what real balls look like.

I think we need to back up a few posts and take a look at that again ... then maybe you can go from there.
The article says ...
Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) said Monday that he is "less confident" that his party can stop the Democrats' healthcare reform bill from passing.
Then you said ...
stopping this is the duty of the American people....
Then I asked ...
Well, since the American people don't have a direct vote on this, how do you propose that they stop that vote from going through?
To which you then replied ...

And from that, I see no way that this does anything to stop that vote that Sen. Jim DeMint was talking about. Again he said...

The various state legislatures don't have anything to do with the voting in the U.S. Congress, doncha know ... :-)
Well, I know what a mess the Civil War was, and if people think it would be better than that now... they’re kidding themselves... LOL ... it won’t be a pretty sight and there won’t be any winners from it... hoo-boy!
It would be much better to have a tax revolt than anything like a Civil War.
They’ll have to get in line behind the Census people who have been looking for me for a few decades... doncha know... LOL ....
Part of the job of the state legislature is to relate concerns of the citizens of the states to their congressional delegation. Especially when it is apparent that the congressional delegation is impaired when it come to acknowledging their state’s interests in DC
And so..., you’re saying that is going to stop the vote that Jim DeMint is talking about?
Can’t hurt.
Okay
