"Mr. J. Stephen Coffman sent in a request for Obamas Selective Service registration form on October 13, 2008. When he received the information along with a letter from Mr. Richard S. Flavahan, Associate Director for Public Affairs and Intergovernmental Affairs, he noted that the computer date stamp showed September 9, 2008, which was more than a month before he made his FOIA request. It also happened to be two days after Obamas televised interview with George Stephanopoulos."
...Did Obama actually ever register with the Selective Service? If so, did he register late? If he registered at all, which birth certificate did he present? Would the COLB shown during the 2008 presidential campaign have been enough?

Is it still mandatory for 18-year-old men to sign up with the SS? I thought there was a conscientious objector clause still in place?

I had to sign up for Selective Service when I graduated from high school
in 1979". However, the requirement to register with the Selective Service had been suspended in 1975 and was not reinstated until 1980.
BO/BS is lying. I distinctly remember having to register in 1980 since I was the first year eligible and I'm a year older than the usurper.

As to determining whether computer files were fiddled with, there's only way to know for sure and that's to get
a good team of forensic computer experts to look at all the government hard drives involved in handling Obama's Selective Service information since he became a "public" person.
Is it likely the US government would allow this? What do you think?!
Other than looking at the hard drives of gosh-who-knows-how many-government computers that no one is ever going to get access to (at least legally!), we can look at all the date and time stamps and DLNs and on and on and it won't mean diddly squat.

Are there multiple records of Obamas Selective Service registration?
[Thanks, maggief.]

Speaking of the SS. The SS public service announcement used to air several times a month on local (Sacramento) radio. Now I am hearing a variety of SS PSAs several times a day.
I wonder, is Obama planning on drafting his domestic army? /half kidding.

On January 27, 1973, Secretary of Defense Melvin R. Laird announced the creation of an all-volunteer armed forces, negating the need for the military draft.
On March 29, 1975, President Ford signed Proclamation 4360, Terminating Registration Procedures Under Military Selective Service Act, eliminating the registration requirement for all 1825 year old male citizens.[8] Following, on July 2, 1980, President Carter signed Proclamation 4771, Registration Under the Military Selective Service Act, retroactively re-establishing the Selective Service registration requirement for all 1826 year old male citizens born on or after January 1, 1960.[9] Only men born between March 29, 1957, and December 31, 1959, were completely exempt from Selective Service registration.[10] The first registrations after Proclamation 4771 took place on Monday, July 21, 1980, for those men born in January, February and March 1960 at U.S. Post Offices. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays were reserved for men born in the later quarters of the year, and registration for men born in 1961 began the following week.[11]

Was it just for that one time or when? Did the '61 people register only on T/W/TH? Not that that proves anything since Hussein and the date stamped are different.
Something I noticed - Whoever filled out the SS form writes at an upwards to the right angle. His numbers tend to be more on the line but there is still a small upwards trend even on the date and phone number (zoom in to see). The signature, while jumping up on the "O", it begins and ends parallel to the line. Usually, his signature trails upward.

I was a college freshman in 1980. There was a lot of controversy when this was reinstated. It was definitely not an event which a person my age in other words... Obama’s age would ever forget. When I heard of his answer on this... my first thought was that he was lying and did not register.
