The point to having LOTS is to be able to TRAIN, without with ammo is nearly useless.
I know an older couple who, when they moved from Alabama to Texas, had to make a totally separate road trip to transport their ammo.
They filled a small UHAUL trailer full of ammunition. floor to ceiling.
The wife told me theyve never tried to seriously count it all, but she thinks theyve got at least 100K rounds of 45acp, 38 super, 9mm, 308, 7.62x39 and 5.56. Until recently, the wife shot 3 gun matches in IPSC and it wasnt unusual to fire 1,500 rounds of 38 super over a long weekend.
