Let's see... This woman's meal is being paid for by her date yet she complains that he is using a coupon? Unbelievable. I would dump that woman pronto.

I only wish I knew about coupons when I was dating. I would have used them on EVERY date. If they didn't like it, well, they would then have to WALK home.

On Valentine's Day I took my wife to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's. Total bill was 50 bucks. I used a free entree coupon to knock 15 bucks off the total bill and then paid for the rest with one of my infamous "stealth coupons" (don't ask, research). Total cost to me: $0.00 and I was still able to tip the waiter $15.

BTW, PJ is now just 10 coupons away from buying a FREE laptop computer.

You are a hero to waiters/waitesses everywhere.

I did better than that!

In 1957 when I took the Corvette to Santa Barbara to run the SCCA race the car owner gave me a $1,000 bill for expenses.

We ate and drank at top restaurants and did it for free because none of them could cash the bill.

Incidentally it was that weekend that I met my wife.

I'm all for using coupons if ya got 'em... and if you remember you have them! --- but on a first date? Only if he said, "I got a coupon for this place... wanna check it out with me?"

I wonder if premium detailing shops accept coupons?!

Last week I ordered a customized laptop from Toshiba Direct. A nice deal on an Intel i5 machine. I spent several days searching for coupons online and was able to find nothing more than a 15% off coupon code for accessories, which saved me maybe $15. That’s not exactly getting a laptop for free, as you are doing or as the spam messages I get daily promise.

It’s entirely conceivable, on the other hand, that the dude in the story was testing the chick. And she failed! Miserably.

Just goes to show ya one can’t pay for high maintenance with coupons.

I don’t clean my car before the first date (testing... testing!) I have it cleaned before the second date and let the date do it, it’s a woman’s job anyway.
