I agree with the author, it's very sophomoric and reminds me of the attempts from the DU or Daily Koz to make an analytical point.
Both end up with a series of unsupported gratuitous assertions supported mostly by the authors feelings at the time. I especially like Marx's assertion that women who marry a capitalist or property owner are whores because they simply do it for the money. What profound intellect!
Marx allowed his own children to starve to death. His wife bore seven and only three lived to adulthood as a result of living in poverty. He refused to work to support his family. This is the kind of person idolized by the left.
