> She wants legalized drugs.
> She backs gay marriage.

Please provide links. I'd honestly like to know if this is true — I really do. But again, I have to ask: what's Perry's and Hutchison’s stance on these and other issues — hardcore Conservative or softcore RINO?

> “It’s a shame isn’t it, that Republicans continue to ignore
> Hispanics especially here in Texas?’

Before Medina spoke yesterday, Apostle Claver of RagingElephants.org had the podium. I have a lot of respect for Apostle and for the work he does to reach across the isle to Black Democratic voters to vote Conservative. He's on tour for the next 6 weeks to teach grassroot groups in Ohio, Kansas and other states to help grow Conservatism among minority voters.

Apostle had a lot to say, but in particular is that "we cannot continue to compromise on Life and Prosperity". And IMO, that's EXACTLY what a vote for Perry or Hutchison is — more RINO representation for Texas Conservatives from lifelong incumbent RINOs.

Hispanics certainly do not need any further special dispensation, seeing how there's 8.2 million Hispanics in Texas which has a total population of 23 million. However, they do need to be welcomed into the GOP fold, because Hispanics tend to vote Democrat, or not at all. The demographic trends show continued growth of the Hispanic population, even if illegal immigration is stopped. But for the sake of Conservatism, Hispanics need be "shown" that they REALLY are Conservatives, not Liberal Democrats.

Ironically, three of the most Conservative candidates that I can recall in recent history in the Houston area are: 1) Roy Morales for Houston Mayor; 2) Dr. Martin Basaldua for Texas House Dist. 127 and; 3) Debra Medina for Texas Governor. The are ALL Hispanics.

I submit to you that inside of any minority who's been indoctrinated to vote Democrat, is a Conservative screaming to get out! Candidates like Morales, Basaldua and Medina are not only Conservative, but are also “cross-over” candidates that can help bring more Hispanics to the Republican Party.

And as best as I can determine, Medina is NOT another incumbent RINO politician!

Are we so desperate to clean house, to get rid of career politicians that we’re ready to take a chance on an unknown former nurse and small business owner who’s a Ron Paul advocate with NO experience, with questionable judgement and loyalties?

The tea party movement is great.
Sometimes it becomes necessary to show the politicians they work for We The People.
It would be wonderful if a Sarah Palin emerged from the tea party movement.
That has not happened.
Debra Medina is no Sarah Palin.
Debra Medina does not represent our ideals.
She has tried to hijack the tea party movement.
She knows she’d never have a chance of getting herself into office running on her Libertarian Party, so she’s calling herself a Republican- just as Ron Paul did. That in itself is dishonest.

Just take a good look at other states compared to Texas. Are we willing to chance sending Texas down the tubes with most of the rest of the states?

The point is; WE HAVE NO CHOICE THIS TIME AROUND. At least Perry is the Devil we know.
And we better d*mn well know when we decide to replace him just what we’re replacing him with!
