The problem is that some conservatives are so defensive about Bush that for anyone to even suggest that there was a lapse in national security that lead to 9-11, the person suggesting that is lumped with the hard-core truthers who think Bush and/or Cheney bossed the attacks.
One is far, far different from the other. But there are a whole lot of people on this forum who refuse to recognize that.
If that makes me “dead” to you, I really don’t give a damn.
That position is completely reasonable.
Evidently you have a comphehensive problem. I went back through my posts and not ONCE have I said a word in this thread against anything but those who believe in or encourage the belief in our government deliberately killing 3000 of its own citizens. It’s a sickening unfounded conspiracy and I will push against any who dabble in it.
From this you take off on a rant about what I assume to mean the Gorelick wall and such which btw as a Freeper around during that period when it was a hot topic for a FACT I know the majority of Freepers had several complaints about the systemic failures in our government and the 911 commission in general. I was one of them and remain so as Obama tries to put those checks back in place.
However, none of that is relevant to what Medina herself said. None of it. So I do question why you would be in this thread making a case about those failures in our intelligence and how they came to be if not to somehow create some loose comparison between that and what Truthers believe. I take it that is not your intent but if so wrong time and wrong place to argue the point. Particularly with someone who deson’t deny our government ran perfectly to begin with.
If you are not a Truther, you have no need to take offense at anything I’ve stated.
