The former Alaska governor touted her climate-change-doubter credentials at the eventfrom which media were barred, though the AP procured a $74 ticket for its reporter
So the press wasn't "barred". They just didn't get free admission.
The same AP will report on a two-thousand-billion dollar increase in the national debt like it's chump change, but they act like martyred saints when they spend $74 on a hit piece.

I’m actually shocked that libs opened up their wallet and actually paid for something. Libs usually enjoy spending other people’s money. Perhaps they will dip into that stimulus bag and get their money back

On that note, while the press apparently got free credentials at the National Tea Party Convention, they very much kept them at the back and side of the room during Sarah Palin’s speech. To the extent of sending uniformed cops after photogs trying to sneak in amongst the banquet tables full of paying attendees for a better shot.
I loved watching that.
