When you cancel yopur membership, make sure that corporate hdqs knows why.

Wow, that would be way cool.

We still get FNC at our Gold’s, they just took out some of the TV’s.

Yes I noticed this in my LA Fitness, too (Pittsburgh). I’m going there this afternoon & letting them know I’m not pleased. I understand that its their TVs, etc but if they aren’t willing to appease their membership, then I will go elsewhere.

I’ve been calling LA Fitness on a weekly basis to register my displeasure. From my frequent contacts with them here’s what I believe to be true:
- they screwed up big time with their new satellite provider which apparently limits their channel selections to about 5 channels or so.
- in response to the volume of complaints they have returned control of one of their tv boxes (my gym has 4, 3 are under control of the new provider) to the local gyms.
- the gym i go to does receive fox news because i saw it on 7 of the 12 tv’s only last week but only for a few minutes
- since that time i’ve requested every single time for them to turn the local box to fox news and every single time they’ve told me they don’t have any control over the box even though i’ve watched them go back and change the channel.
- so my conclusion is that my local gym is, despite pressure from corporate, refusing to offer members the choice of watching fair and balanced news coverage. their idea of choice is cnn or msnbc.

Only governments censor, private companies can do whatever the hell they wish, don’t like it, go to a competitor.
