In what seems a stinging rebuke to the federal policies of bailing out auto companies enacted by President Barack Obama last year, Ford Motor Company announced today that they managed to make a $2.7 billion profit in 2009.

Since TARP money was given to Government Motors and Chrysler/UAW, many people decided the only American car they could buy is Ford. Thus Ford unfairly profited from TARP and will have to be taxed to pay for it. It's the only fair thing to do. < /Obama “logic”>

How dare them make money. Obama should take a lot of that profit and give it to the other car makers that did not do as well. ;^)

I predict the Ford profit trend will continue, at least for awhile. Conservatives who still prefer to buy American will lean their way for awhile, I’m sure.
