This is a strange one. John McCain goes on Jay Leno's program last night, and, without any real prompting, takes a shot at his former running mate. Watch:
Really, what gives? Would it have hurt McCain to have included Sarah Palin's name in the list of non-Rush-Limbaugh-GOP talent? The category was Republican governors, too. So there can be no mistaking who he chose to omit. "I've left out someone's name, and I'm going to hear about it..." Gee, ya think?
The whole "I don't want the president to fail" thing would have been the headline were it not for the incredibly odd diss on the woman he once touted as knowing "more about energy than probably anyone else in the United States of America." I guess the Arizona Senator has changed his mind.
I hope you are wrong. She can't be aware of this, really; if so she's way out of her league. They will use her & throw her to the wolves. I feel sorry for her indeed. And our country.
Yes. And the game has to be played, just like Romney is playing it, and just like Huck is playing it. That is the system GOP candidates have to work if they want to be President. Otherwise, it's over. Period.
And yes, it's a sad fact of political life, just like in 1860 when Lincoln had to deal with Seward, and in 1980 when Reagan had to deal with Bush.
I hope Sarah can now leave that deadwood behind with a clear conscience that she tried to "return the favor" and get on with the business of healing this nation.
He's a jackazz and will quickly meld back into the wallpaper.
It's becoming more apparent by the day that the only people that will support Sarah are a couple hundred million Americans.
Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.
i posted the same post three times. whata nerd i am
Not cool. I have been one defending the inevitability of her having to go throughthe motons of endorsing him but this is weak.
I have not seen or read anything that makes me distrust Palin’s instincts. In fact, all she has done thus far causes me to trust her instincts very much.
She picked a great husband. Has worked hard to raise her kids and contribute to her community, her state, and her nation. She lives pro-life and conservative principles, is loyal, and demonstrates good timing. Her hero is Ronald Reagan.
Jeeez, what more do people need?
McCain is beyond contempt for co-authoring McCain-Feingold. And, even today, he won’t admit the error. Scr*w McCain forever.
Amen, and I heard today that HAYWORTH a Republican, who used to be in Senate, is going to challenge McCain in AZ for his seat...and I hope Hayworth wins.
When I found out Cindy and Megan McCain were in advertisement for SS marriage, it becomes necessary for Sarah to distance herself from this group.
Last time I looked Panama delivered mail,or is it censored now? Can’t you get it from Amazon.com or another source on internet?
“I finder it harder to believe all the time that this guy didn’t survive the Hanoi Hilton by playing ball rather than hanging tough.”
I believe it’s public knowledge that he said and did things he shouldn’t have during his incarceration. I may be wrong, but I think he’s admitted it. He’s a little girl; Sarah’s tougher than he is.
He hasn't changed much, then.
He's still saying and doing things he shouldn't.
Time for him to go live off his rich wife and stop mucking around with our lives.
