It is insane and totally unacceptable to think that there is are spiritual forces at work in the universe. It is just so insensitive not to mention backward to suggest such utter nonsense. The President’s spokesman took a stand against such nonsense the other day. How dare anybody try to suggest anything beyond natural phenomena.
FYI - it is not “insane”, “unacceptable”, “nonsense” or “backward” to take a Biblical stance - and that includes the fact that spiritual warfare is alive and well in our universe - apart from anyone’s belief or acceptance of it. Having said that, I fail to see what that has to do with a compassionate response of aid in light of disasters. What does one have to do with the other? It wouldn’t matter what caused the disaster - just our response to it.
It's every believer's duty.
You forgot the /sarcasm tag. If not, you should have. This writer is full of ignorance. Pat Robertson wasn’t speaking for you, nimrod (writer of article).
It does outrage me too. Why would anyone think there is something beyond the plates moving to and fro? Remember those poor souls at Sodom and Gomorah and Abraham blaming them for their sins. What a jerk Abraham.!!
Granted Pat might should have held off a little (timing wise)but to deny that the land does at times vomit out it’s inhabitants (Leviticus)due to wickedness is to deny what God himself said in the scripture. I don’t know the details of Haiti’s pact with the devil but they are known to practice voo-doo. I will now Google the history....
Many are missing your obvious sarcasm; there must be something in the FR water today....
