Strangely enough in California its perfectly legal to carry the biggest folder you can find without a permit, but not a fixed blade and not a handgun without a permit, but its almost impossible to get a permit to carry in Cali.

Anywhere that it's impossible (or virtually impossible) to get a handgun CCW but it's legal to carry a big folder, I'd sure consider it!

I don't consider myself under-armed when I'm carrying only my Vaquero Grande. Sometimes I just leave the old pistola en casa.

It isn’t that hard to get a permit to carry in Ca. It is hard to get a permit to carry in the socialist cities of Ca. In the northern counties lots of folks have permits and our permits are good for the cities too.
