“Jehovah” is a made-up word that Jews laugh at, because “YHWH” is meant to be unpronounceable, because it’s impossible to insert any philogically correct vowels between the letters. Even if one was to adopt the notion that you were supposed to insert the vowels of “Adonai” between the letters of “YHWH,” you would get “Yahowaih.” But since a W can’t follow an H (unless followed by a hard consonant) nor can an H follow a W at the end of a word, there’s really no way you could make up a word like “Yahowaih” (Or like “Jehovah”) in Hebrew. Face it, the reason “Jehovah” was used by ignorant, Rennaissance Protestants was because Yahowaih sounded too silly.
Hebrew didn’t have written vowels. YHWH is the English equivalent of the Hebrew letters and God’s name was never meant to be unpronounceable judging by the thousands of times it’s used in Scriptures.
