More “magic mushrooms”?
What a sad, sorry, little cult. I will say this: their proofs are rather extensive (and were even back when they used the KJV before compiling a rather creative new version). They are correct in as much as they say that the NT was not extensively explicit on the Trinitarian formula, with the exception of John. John is explicit and that is swept under the Watchtower rug. The Church developed their understanding of these strange and extensive ideas that Jesus taught them but it took a long time for these uneducated and provincial people to get their arms around it all.
Look at the development of the Apostles Creed (ca. 180) to the Nicene Creed and that to the even more explicit Athenasian Creed.
This is the Faith of Christianity; let those who repudiate it at least have the courtesy to jettison their self description of Christian when they jettison Christian belief.
