Copenhagen – Hypocrisy – Fraud – Confidence Trick
PA Pundits International ^ | 17 December 2009 | TonyfromOz

With the Copenhagen Conference heading for its climax, see why this is all one big confidence trick that has been perpetrated in the name of Science by World leaders and the UN, all of whom have an entirely different agenda. Take the link and see why any resolution they might reach will be absolutely impossible to fulfill.

I liked your article, Tony.

There is another scenario, a little darker.

Force the world, the “developing” world first, to have the sort of life style that goes along with an intermittent, low-density power source.

The rest of the world would gradually slide into that mode as continuous, high-density power becomes too expensive to maintain and no new plants are being built (only “sustainable” power plants will be built and coal/oil/gas plants taxed to near-death).

After a few decades of “global governance” and “global climate solutions” only critical factories and functions will have continuous power. One set of critical factories will be solar panel factories- these use too much high-density power, continuous power, to be powered by solar or wind. Global government and international police and the UN military will have all the power they need, and their arms will be forged in approved factories.

A few more decades after that, and everyone will think that the way they live is normal and right and they'll be glad that they can run a single CFC at night from their solar cell/car battery, and if the skies have been clear a small TV or laptop too. They'll be grateful that the house is over 40 in wintertime.

I base this scenario on conversations I've had with greens whose dream of a "sustainable world economy" is similar. Have you seen the picture of the Koreas at night? Lots of lights on in the south, a pinprick of light at Pyongyang in the North. A green from Dark Skies International looked at it and commented on how progressive and forward-looking was the North, to use so little power.

Think of the future as a boot, endlessly trampling a human face- in the dark!

“Think of the future as a boot, endlessly trampling a human face- in the dark!”

But it's all for a vitally important cause...we must save the planet. The religion of Mother-Earth is upon us. Except in this case, instead of praying to our god, we must save our god who is too weak to save herself. We are very important to our god and anyone who stands in the way of saving her obviously must get the boot-in-the-face-treatment.

It's not nice to fool mothert earth...(sounds of thunder and flashes of lightning in the distance).

These are the religious fanatics that are tramping around the climate conference. The folks inside are the mountebanks that are stoking their insanity.

The scientists who give tacit or direct support to all of this are either charlatans or dupes. Neither of which practice the art of true integrated science. We are in perilous times!

Sounds like you are in as cheerful a mood as I am!

I’ve seen Algor as a shaman. Algor knows what The Weather wants, and we must do as Algor says if we are to have good crops and dry weather at harvest time.

I’ve written numerous L2E’s (letters to editor) regarding AGW that have been published, and the backlash from the warm-quacks is astounding. True believers are they. And, yes, this is a religion. Faith is a necessity!

I have a brother who is a scientist and another brother who is a fairly well-known journalist. The scientist is a true skeptic who understands the technical side of this issue quite well. He doesn’t buy in to the CO_2 alarmism. The proof is totally missing.

The journalist, on the other hand, sees himself as the most knowledgable and wise person on the face of the planet who basically thinks that if he decides to believe in something, by-God, it must be true. He is the epitome of Algore. An arrogant fool, methinks. But an effecive snakeoil salesman, nonetheless.

I place massive amounts of accountability for this mess of a sham directly on the media. It makes brother-journalist’s head spin and steam to rise off his scalp when I go there. (Call an exorcist quick!)

I am very frustrated that people can be so dense and lemming-like. When you clearly see a hoax being perpetrated on folks that will certainly harm everyone and no matter what you say or do to save the folks (and yourself), you get either a blank stare or people chasing you with pitchforks. It is quite deflating.

Yeah, my mood is dark! Merry Christmas!

See HERE for a shining (ahem) example of their duplicity.

I am writing in an attempt to cheer you.

I have beloved brothers very similar to yours. It hurts. (They read alot of science fiction, which I researched and found promotes Marxist thinking in its Utopian themes. I read history.)

I spend my free time blogging at Washington Post, NYT, BBC, instead of preaching to the choir. They pretty much come after me with pitchforks. The worst one was a Washington Post Op Ed written by Sarah Palin last week. The replies were full of hate and envy and bitterness. Over 4,000 comments spewing hatred.

BUT on the other hand, I’ve been on some marvelous boards; places where there are plenty of thinkers. It makes me feel more hopeful than I was about the might of American will.

These dark days without sufficient electriciy will not happen. Consider the gambling casinos. Can you picture those folks being turned away? How about the sports fans and their television. Sometimes it helps to just get real.

And finally, where my comfort really lies:

” Believe on Me. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Light. As far as the East is from the West, so far will I put your sins from Me.”

Much love to all my fellow Americans.

Go to the comments here. Sort by Most recommended. Very heartening to see the Brits so angry, since British press and academia are solidly warmist.
