Shouldn’t we demand that of Congress too? Obama ain’t got the sense, and anything repealing years of legislation will need a Presidential Veto Over-Ride

Yeah, she has. You just have your hands over your eyes screaming "no-no-no-no" rather then bothering learn the facts about her.

Read her book, read her facebook page, listen to her interviews rather then let the Junk Media tell you what to think about Palin

“The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power.

Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power.

What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing.

All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives.

They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just round the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal.

We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it.

Power is not a means; it is an end.

One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship.

The object of persecution is persecution.

The object of torture is torture.

The object of power is power”.

-George Orwell, 1984, Part Three, Chapter III, page 263

LOL — now she’s telling Obozo what to do via her FB page!

So glad she resigned that governorship - seriously.

He postponed the visit.....

She made him do it.

“Facebook Sarah Palin page”

This is a simply amazing citation. In the process of doing whatever it is she is doing she is making history. She is bypassing the MSM and getting her precise message out to precisely those she wants to get it and is doing it more or less for free.

The New York Times et al are being shunned and given the finger. Thousands of presstitutes beavering away in multimillion dollar New York ivory towers are replaced and repudiated by one kitchen table computer in Wassila Alaska

"Frankly she may not be the best candidate in a presidential race. She’s not shown the depth necessary to be effective across the board to this point.

" Okay, give us a name of a better candidate.

Can’t you just see the purple-faced rage of Pinch and Chrissy and Moonves and whoever all else, ranting at their underlings and saying, “Stop it!! Stop it!! The can’t DO this!! It ain’t news unless WE say it is!!”

Policy decisions require real science and real solutions, not junk science and doomsday scare tactics pushed by an environmental priesthood

Now if only she wouldn't have mentioned Algore by name, the pres_ent might have listened to her! (aWaiting for the day when AGW means AlGore woody) In a 'be careful what you wish for' moment, any trend resulting in Obongo actually listening to Sarah for the next 3 years could result in a rapid return to capitalism and his re-election. I mean, he is a follower afterall, we just don't know who (other than his teleprompter) he's following! So far, she's the only GOOD adviser giving him advice!

She skipped putting her big toe in the water and just jumped in. Let’s see if any of our other conseratives and rinos back her up...let’s see who is with her. We stand with her and with this country. Sure leaves Gingrich, Huckabee, McClame, et al in the dust!

In and ideal world, climategate will be a whistleblower, not a hacker, and every scammer from Algore, the UN, some scientists, on down to the EPA will get tarred and feathered for the next 3 years to remind the electorate what the democrats are capable of. /intentional of. end of sentence to prove I’m not elitist.

Now that’s leadership.

Makes me worry about the mental condition of those who question Palin’s leadership ability or her readiness to be president.

For people like Krauthammer and David Brooks—at the minimum, formal intellectual testing followed by tutoring is in order. These guys are victims, and they need help.

Not wishy-washy...not at all. Now, she may have specifically worded her stand to gather in the largest group, but if you look at her statements, they are not consistent with CATASTROPHIC ANTHROPOGENIC GLOBAL WARMING. They are consistent with global warming, which is different.

What you should understand, Yooper4Life, if you want to argue this issue realistically and effectively, is that the earth IS indeed warming.

Where people disagree is why it is getting warmer, and what the effect of warming will be.

People who line up behind Al Gore and the alarmists insist this warming is unprecedented and will be catastrophic.

People who line up behind the skeptics believe this is a natural cycle. Most also agree that man has contributed in an exceedingly small amount to the warming, but that it is nothing to be concerned about.

This is a very, very important distinction. As governor of an arctic state, one that is heavily invested in oil production, she needs to address things that even happen on a normal, natural cycle if it is that long.

See my reply below at #77. The distinction she is addressing is very important. She is NOT on the side of the alarmists. She is on the side of a governor who must address natural cyclical environmental issues.

Sounds like you’re looking too hard to find something “wishy washy” and it’s preventing you from seeing that Palin is on the right side of this issue.

Gee have candidates announced. I think Tim Pawlenty will be in the mix. And I expect to see something out of Bobby Jindal. His time may not be near but his time should come.

So there’s potentially two. But I can’t get worked up about potential candidates down the road. The fight for our nation is TODAY!

Leaders? We don’t need no stinkin leaders. The People are Rising!
