The presidents decision to attend the international climate conference in Copenhagen needs to be reconsidered in light of the unfolding Climategate scandal. The leaked e-mails involved in Climategate expose the unscientific behavior of leading climate scientists who deliberately destroyed records to block information requests, manipulated data to hide the decline in global temperatures, and conspired to silence the critics of man-made global warming. I support Senator James Inhofes call for a full investigation into this scandal. Because it involves many of the same personalities and entities behind the Copenhagen conference, Climategate calls into question many of the proposals being pushed there, including anything that would lead to a cap and tax plan. Policy should be based on sound science, not snake oil. I took a stand against such snake oil science when I sued the federal government over its decision to list the polar bear as an endangered species despite the fact that the polar bear population has increased. Ive never denied the reality of climate change; in fact, I was the first governor to create a subcabinet position to deal specifically with the issue. I saw the impact of changing weather patterns firsthand while serving as governor of our only Arctic state. But while we recognize the effects of changing water levels, erosion patterns, and glacial ice melt, we cannot primarily blame mans activities for the earths cyclical weather changes. The drastic economic measures being pushed by dogmatic environmentalists wont change the weather, but will dramatically change our economy for the worse. etc......
Ping. Go Girl........ I am writing you in if you don’t run
There is a good chance I will too. The republicans have to put up someone who is decent or I go third party. Of course with electronic machines, how do you write someone in?
There is a way to do it.
Not a chance!
Obviously, Sarah's comment about Obama canceling was rhetorical.
The Republicans won’t put up a decent candidate unless we cause it to happen. The party organization didn’t back Sarah in Alaska until she had defeated it. Even though she was the VP nominee, her support is only grass roots and you can bet that party officials and money people will try to get a bought and paid for milk toast candidate. As for a third party, that’s a certain path to re-electing Obama. We have only one choice and that’s to get our preferred candidate the nomination.
Dear God
All i want for Christmas is Sarah Palin to get Elected to the Presidency next Election
PLEASE!
Amen
I agree with you. Third party is only a last resort.
But if the Republicans put up a “me too” candidate that intends to outdemocrat the democrats, Obama might as well win. If they do that, it’s time for a last resort because we’ll have nothing to lose by it.
Let’s hope they’ve learned the lesson of NY-23 and change their ways so that it doesn’t come to that.
Go, Sarah, Go!
Obama is like a car without a steering wheel...he can only head in the direction in which he is pointed.
There is nothing wrong with an ideologue if the ideology on which he is based is correct. But Obama is an ideologue headed in the wrong direction (he was trained that way since birth).
Obama is aimed for the ditch on the side of the road...and we are joined with him at the economic hip.
‘zackly.
The short bus is waiting, however, for the hoax complicit (hypocritical) leader who fails to comprehend, investigate and put the brakes on attending the globalist climate change agenda meeting which is now as we know based on missing (conveniently for them) and manipulated data.
“Lets hope theyve learned the lesson of NY-23 and change their ways so that it doesnt come to that.”
I’ve begun to suspect that the Republican leadership would rather lose to a hard-left Democrat than win with a conservative Republican. They’ve got their own version of “core principles”, you see. One is to stray no more than a couple of inches to the right of the Democrats, no matter how far left they go.
Not a chance...Our agenda is not their agenda...
But if the Republicans put up a me too candidate that intends to outdemocrat the democrats, Obama might as well win. If they do that, its time for a last resort because well have nothing to lose by it.
Same as last time...This time it will be Sarah Palin or Obamba...
He can’t cancel his trip - Michelle already has her green shoes packed!
