They have to know there is fire there as the smoke is pretty thick....but they are intimidated by the rest of the media who labels anyone who questions THE ONE’S birth details as a kook or worse. Look what they did to Lou Dobbs when he just said he thought Obama was a legitimate citizen but lent credence to the birthers’ request for some form of proof!
On the other hand, maybe they are more afraid of the ramifications if it’s proven Obama isn’t constitutionally able to be president. Heck, I doubt the supreme court would uphold the constitution anyway.
Don’t forget: Judge Carter has already ruled: It’s okay to commit fraud against the Constitution if you already got away with it.
