We all set around wondering why more isn’t done about violent crime and in particular, gang crime. The largest group of violent crime victims are black, the 2nd largest group of violent crime victims are Hispanic (mostly Latino).
Most of these crimes are committed against these victims by other blacks or Hispanics. If whites were being victimized at the same rate as blacks/hispanics, you can bet much much more would be done.
umgud:
As someone who has been held up at gunpoint three times in my life, I find it interesting that all three of the perps were young black males between 16 and 21 who all exhibited a sense of entitlement during these acts.
Their attitudes conveyed that I owed them something because I was a white male. Isn’t this a hate crime?
Go look at the crime statistics, if you want to compare black on white crime versus white on black crime. It’s truely shocking, and gets zero press. Not PC, you understand.
hate to bust your bubble... but when race is involved, black on white crime is radically higher than white on black crime.
white on white or black on black is obviously, not race oriented (unless they are saying something about uncle tom)
and since there is no outrage from the ‘main stream’... this type of behavior is approved. ok then... when do we start to see black kids getting one-punched to see if they drop like rag dolls?
“If whites were being victimized at the same rate as blacks/hispanics, you can bet much much more would be done.”
I don’t think the rates are that much different. White people are attacked by blacks on a regular basis, it just isn’t reported by the media. They are called “hush crimes” for the media’s deliberate attempts to silence the stories.
As far as much more being done if whitey starts to being victimized, it is very difficult for the police to apprehend perps when the prevailing attitude in the target demographic is “no snitchin”. That attitude doesn’t exist in white communities.
