Stupak represents a once historical Republican district in the Upper Peninsula. For some reason, people in MI really believe in him.
Stupak also has a strip here on the west side of the lower where I am. I think the reason the UP runs Rat now is the colleges in Marquette and Houghton. Otherwise, “Da Yoo-Pee” would run red.
