From a British paper:

“Beneath the signature charm and rhetoric, President Barack Obama’s message was clear: the US fully intends to deepen dialogue with China and pursue greater cooperation with countries across Asia...

...Calling himself “America’s first Pacific President” during a 40-minute address, Mr Obama said: “I want every American to know that we have a stake in the future of this region, because what happens here has a direct effect on our lives at home.”

I’ve only visited Japan, but I would guess most Japanese would see this as patronizing them while dishonoring one’s own country and previous leaders.

If nothing else, GHW Bush spent 14 months as the unofficial ambassador to China - and THIS buffoon thinks HE is “America’s first Pacific President”????? Doesn’t he know the Japanese, Koreans and Chinese KNOW better? I cannot believe showing contempt for previous Presidents will win him friends or respect in ANY of those countries!

Love and totally agree with your tagline.

He is such a narcissist that he believes that anything outside of his skin is immaterial or non-existent.
