Hearing a lot lately about how the Catholic Church is supporting liberal causes. Are these real or just another attack on the Catholics?

That's what I was hoping to find out. I think it's just another attack, but maybe some of the folks I'm pinging can tell us more.

I listen to EWTN, and there are priests and bishops who are STRONG conservatives, and not just on the social issues.

Some priests and bishops are more liberal, just as some evangelicals are liberal and some are conservative. Many evangelicals voted for Obama, just as many Catholics voted for him, and it’s a shame for all. I doubt if too many priests, even the more liberal ones, voted for him, though.

Check out EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo’s blog, and you will find honest criticism, as well as compliments, for the bishops.

Is Lou Dobbs trying to get attention, or is he just ignorant? What are his facts? I heard a woman talk show host on Catholic shortwave radio (EWTN) compliment Rush Limbaugh twice about his stand against Obamacare.
