Dr. Hassan went “around the bend” in his pursuit of righteousness. He followed his own muse right off the cliff. Whether he “snapped” was a “psychotic” or whether he “found Osama”, he brought terror to the innocent and he took an innocent life in the womb — not to mention all the others he took or altered.
You don't have to be pen pals with Osama to be a terrorist — you just have to be evil. Dr. Hassan is evil. It was a conscious act, well planned, well provisioned and well performed. Does he get the "Employee of the Month Award" from Al Qaida or the Taliban? Like all the awards those organizations promise -- they are a dead end. Does he achieve the same result and wind up in the same place? It depends on whether you're an "extremist" or not.

A backlash has to be directed at Political Correctness, or incidents like 11/5/09 will happen more frequently. And it may not just be military bases...schools, malls, stadiums, other soft targets will be likely. Winning wars abroad only to be hamstrung at home is not a winning strategy.
There has been a definite disinformation campaign going on this weekend. I posted on another thread Friday that Hannity had a radio guest (Brent Bozelle, I think) who said Hasan’s cell phone had numbers and computer had URLs associated with KNOWN terrorist organizations.
It was the only time I heard it. Even yesterday when it was once again reported that his computer came up empty I thought, it was not like Bozelle to get something so drastic so wrong.
I am not a tin foil person. Based on what we have seen and heard it began shortly after the massacre when all of the outlets were given talking points by someone up high.
They tried to frame the story immediately.
The question is this: Is the military trying to CYA or is it the administration that is trying to hide something?
Last thing: with so much incorrect informaton coming out from the Fort Hood statements and pressers after the shooting, I wonder if they were given disinformation? Someone has been trying to hide something from the beginning.
