The good guys are more vulnerable to this sort of bad luck than the socialists. Obama and Pelosi have no one in their lives that they care about enough to interrupt their drive for power.
Even though he was willing to counter Pelosi, and bragged about stopping the abortion portion of the bill, I would never characterize Stupak as “one of the good guys.”
