Your own last sentence tells “how will she be helping Oprah”. You’ve answered your own question. High television ratings that will last briefly isn't exactly "helping" Oprah. Those who never watched the show before Palin will be on it will go right back to not watching it again. Oprah is not going to attract new viewers unlike Palin who will convert new fans.
