What did he report to Judge Carter on his resume and application as his educational background?
Did he report that he was out of the country? For security clearances, it generally matters.
Does Judge Carter know of the relationship between Velamoor and the man who is about to become the Chief White House counsel?

To a new, junior attorney at a law firm, the carrot could be in the form of a promise of a promotion if he "cooperates".
The stick could be something like the veiled threat of having a secret exposed to the State Bar, which might jeopardize the career advancement of a vibrant, young lawyer.
Coincidence? Looks like Obama has his inside man to feed him intelligence.
Where did he go to high school?
And, BTW, isn't he quite a bit older and more experienced than most judge's law clerks, who generally come straight out of law school?
