Another video from Stephen A. Smith blasting the black NFL players that said they wouldn't play for Rush, this one hits harder than the CNN interview, he doesn't hold back....(Video)

I betcha that when Rush is on the sidelines in Pittsburgh, all the players say hey. He’s a fan and they know it.
They are all mercenaries. None of them play for Texas because they live in Texas, or play for Washington, because they live in Washington. They play for money, and this guy is right,. they dont care who’s money it is.
Thanks for the link! Smith says it ALL!
My impression of Stephen A. Smith has grown immensely since these comments and his interview with Mark Levin.
Hey.
Nobody really plays for the St. Louis Rams now.
They just sort of show up.
Can't have Rush own the team. It might so hurt team morale so bad that play will go right into the dumper. /sarc

They really don't even do that.
“None of them play for Texas because they live in Texas, or play for Washington, because they live in Washington”
Why should they? Football teams are not owned by the state. They are for-profit businesses.
Good job Stephen on telling the truth! The only people who are really upset are Limbaugh's enemies. I would guess 99% of the NFL could care less.
I don’t know if there is really profit as an owner. Perhaps with some teams, but overall it’s about the owners ego?
Think about it most teams will only play 16 games. I know they get paid by TV,radio and the tickets, but that’s about it. The merchandice (such as jerseys) goes the NFL organization. In the mean time the owners have to pay all the large salaries to the team, coaches and staff.
Now the NFL organization itself yes is VERY profitable.

I agree 100%. I used to view him as a loudmouth, fast-talkin’ NBA pimp on espn, but my opinion has changed, too.
Otoh, Rush just mentioned that Wilbon came out against him, and that doesnt surprise me. I used to like Wilbon, but lost ALL respect for him when he stated that Sean Taylor’s murder was the fault of Sean Taylor. Nothing could be further from the truth, and he never apologized, even when the facts came out.
I think you’re confusing Michael Wilbon with Jason Whitlock.
Whitlock did Taylor no favors, but Wilbon was even more harsh, both on his espn TV show (which I used to watch at that time) and on the net:

Michael Wilbon On Sean Taylor Shooting: “It’s Not Surprising”

“I’m not the least bit surprised about the Taylor episode ... why would I be considering his history, even since he joined the Redskins?”
I stand corrected.
You are a gentleman and a scholar.
:-)
Certainly they are. That is why it’s a joke for these players to claim they wont play for Limbaugh.
