There's Nineteen Olympic Shooting Events(1) that are OUTLAWED by Chicago's Firearms Laws. And Mayor Daley has said, unequivocally, that NOBODY is exempt from them. Not even ex-Chicago Cops -- they have to MOVE or get rid of their handgun(s) when they retire.
Then we have the State of IL's 'Extreme' Firearm Laws. Pursuant to THEM, those 'foreigners' you worry so much about couldn't get approval either as they don't qualify for the FOID Card we *need* just to ---- TOUCH A BULLET!
Ergo, the 2016 games couldn't be held in Chicago, or Illinois, in the first place. As if exceptions were made, scores of lawsuits by Chicago and IL residents would follow - and I'd be one of them! So put down the crack pipe and go back to DU.
Or are you maybe one of Eric Holder's new DoJ 'stealth' bloggers assigned to infiltrate FR?
If so I have a message for you.
Come And Get Me Copper!
(1) IIRC there's Ten for men and Nine for women.
The GOOD NEWS is that this EXTREME GUN CONTROL LAW is being challenged via a trip to see the SUPREMES. Too bad that law was not judged to have been unConsitutional because that would have have help Chicago get the Olympics.
BTW, I predict it will be struck down before the end of the new USSC term is over next summer.
