I had kind of hoped that I would be wrong and you could explain how this could never happen in America. The sad part is that more and more of the wild conspiracy theories are starting to make sense. Either I'm going crazy or the world is.

Afghanistan really reminds me of Viet Nam. The bad guys can go hide and resupply in no-go zones ... and we can’t go after them.

Another similarity with Viet Nam: Both countries share a border with China.

He’s never done anything in his life and now he’s a military expert — expert on the economy, Wall Street, the automobile industry, medicine, insurance and foreign affairs.

He’s a total and complete fraud.

It really does not matter if he delays his decision into next month.

The earliest we can free up additional BCTs for Afghan from Iraq is March. 90-days minimum notice and one month transit means he has until December to decide. That puts the reinforcements in-country for the spring offensive.

An earlier decision will not move them sooner...
